COOL&CREATE’s launch materials promise “seven characters” with new illustrations by 煮込らしか. Famitsu names two of them in plain language: Flandre Scarlet is the trainee streamer you play, and Remilia Scarlet is the charisma-streamer final boss. The soundtrack and Steam achievements fill the rest of the mansion: Rumia, Cirno, Hong Meiling, Patchouli Knowledge, and Sakuya Izayoi.

This hub is the roster index. Deep pages live at Flandre Scarlet and the boss roster. There is no secret eighth playable in the 16 August 2026 build. Reviews that asked for more characters are asking for DLC, not describing a hidden select screen.

Playable

Flandre Scarlet is the entire character-select conversation. Weapons become her spell-card joke. Viewer count is her HP. Clothing-damage sprites are the art conversation people either came for or refunded over. Read her page before you argue about “best character.” There is one.

Everything you equip is still a 30-level problem. Send loadout questions to the weapon tier list and best builds, not to a team-builder that does not exist.

Bosses and guests

The boss roster is organized in the order the music and achievements suggest:

• Rumia — “Is That So~” energy, later a chasing shadow on the last gauntlet according to players
• Cirno — “Great Fairy on the Lake,” plus the Cirno-car meme some runs mention
• Meiling — “Gatekeeper of the SDM”
• Patchouli — “Oooooh, Patchouli!”
• Sakuya — maid theme on the OST, superfan achievement adjacent in the highlight list
• Remilia — “Charisma Princess Remilia!” and the undestroyable-danmaku exam

Why the roster is this small

The game is a song world. The 2022 “Internet Survivor” MV already treated Touhou as an internet survival story. The game turns that into one vampire with a phone. A wide roster would be a different product — Holocure comparisons in Steam reviews exist because players wanted that product. This wiki will not pretend the launch build has it.

If you are here for the illustrations, the official site sells a C108 booklet and a deluxe goods set. That is merch, not an unlockable gallery. A Japanese review even begged for a museum mode. Until that exists, the review is the place to talk about looking at dots.

Reading order

1. Flandre Scarlet so you know the body.
2. Getting Started and Viewer count so you know her life bar.
3. Boss roster so names match achievements.
4. Achievement tracker if you collect titles.
5. Official links for the streaming guideline that lets you show these characters on YouTube.

When someone asks “who should I main,” the answer is Flan. When they ask “who is hard,” the answer is Remilia and the late shadows. Everything else is soundtrack credits.
